Transportation Injury Cases:

RAILROAD GRADE CROSSING FATALITY
Homebuilder John William Sealy was killed at an unprotected railroad crossing because his view was obstructed by excessive vegetation. His damages were determined and awarded by the court. Before trial, the railroad offered only a nominal sum to settle the case.

“I find it next to impossible to thank Mr. Branson and his entire staff for all he did for our family, not only during the trial, but from day one of our relationship with the law firm. I do not believe the award to our family would have been so large if we had not hired the Branson firm.”—Lane Sealy, John’s father

Kerr had a blood alcohol level of .21 when the car she was driving collided with another vehicle, killing a 12 year old boy, Ryan Dawson, and his grandfather. The driver’s father knew about her history of alcohol problems and still co-leased a car for her.

“We have been asked a number of times by various people why we hired a law firm from out-of –state to represent our family in our wrongful death case. Without Frank Branson, his attorneys and staff, I am confident we would not have received a fair recovery.”
