Legal Secretary Needed

The Law Offices of Frank L. Branson, P.C. has a full-time position open for a Legal Secretary. Candidates must have a minimum five years prior legal secretarial experience in plaintiffs personal injury practice; excellent organizational skills; type 90+ WPM; and competent operational knowledge of:

1. WordPerfect v.9
2. Windows 98
3. Electric typewriter
4. Dictation-transcription equipment
5. Firm telephone system
6. Firm duplication equipment
7. Firm postage meter and scale
8. Firm fax machines

Duties include, but are not limited to: schedule hearings with court and advise all parties, schedule and coordinate depositions, inspections and meetings, transcription of dictation tapes and all typing as needed, draft miscellaneous pleadings, discovery and correspondence, incorporating printed or written notes and materials, prepare settlement notebooks, utilizing visual and organizational skills.
