In 1992, J. Hadley Edgar, Jr. joined the Law firm of Frank Branson, bringing an illustrious history and background to the firm. Edgar is licensed to practice in the state of Texas, United States District Courts for the Northern District of Texas and fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He served as President-elect of the Amarillo Bar Association, 1971; Director, Lubbock County Bar Association, 1975-79; President-elect, Lubbock County Bar Association, 1982-83 and President, Lubbock County Bar Association 1983-84. He was awarded the Outstanding Law Professor Award in 1982 and 1986 and the President's Excellence in Teaching Award in 1982.

Edgar's one aim in the practice of law is to render the best possible service to the client. Throughout his career, he has had a single goal: to see justice served.

Keys to winning a case

Edgar believes that the facts of a case play the single most important role in winning or losing a case. It is the attorney's perseverance and preparedness that can make the difference in the outcome. According to Hadley, "If you don't have the facts, it doesn't make any difference how hard you have prepared. You've got to keep working and persevering to see justice served. The harder you work, the better the outcome." Above all, he believes in representing the client in the most ethical way possible.
